The TBPCP3 Series consists of high-performance RF pulse current monitoring probes designed for accurate measurement of fast transient and surge currents in the time domain. Unlike traditional RF current probes used for EMC testing in the frequency domain, the TBPCP3 probes are optimized for capturing pulse and transient current waveforms with high fidelity.
All probes in the TBPCP3 series feature a 15 mm aperture, allowing easy installation around conductors while maintaining excellent signal integrity. The probes are characterized over a wide frequency range up to 100 MHz, ensuring reliable measurements of fast current pulses and transient events.
With different bandwidths and transfer impedance levels, the TBPCP3 models allow engineers to select the probe that best matches their measurement sensitivity and frequency requirements.
Typical applications include:
Surge current measurements
RF pulse current monitoring
Transient current analysis
Pulse power systems
High-speed switching measurements
The probes provide a calibrated transfer impedance when terminated with 50 Ω, while also supporting higher output sensitivity when connected to high-impedance instruments such as oscilloscopes.
