In detail
The PW3365 Clamp-on Power Logger measures voltages and currents safely and efficiently without direct contact with live circuits. Its innovative voltage clamp sensors attach easily to insulated wires, enabling non-intrusive measurements. Operating effectively within a voltage range of 90 to 520 V and a current range of 50 mA to 5 kA at 50/60 Hz, it minimizes risks like short circuits and electrical hazards. This makes it ideal for monitoring power consumption and demand across various installations, from single-phase to 3-phase 4-wire systems.
Thanks to its compact design, the PW3365 fits seamlessly into confined spaces, such as connection cabinets or switchboards. It provides precise readings and detailed insights to help identify and reduce energy losses. Equipped with an 8 GB SD memory card, it supports long-term stand-alone data logging. This versatility makes it suitable for energy audits, load studies, and equipment inspections, highlighting opportunities to enhance efficiency and cut costs.
To perform measurements, the PW3365 requires AC current sensors with a BNC connector. These current sensors are not included with the logger and are sold separately.By selecting the appropriate current sensor, the PW3365 can be tailored for specific power monitoring needs, ensuring reliable, high-precision energy measurements in various environments.
The PW3365 supports both load current and leak current logging, making it ideal for comprehensive power analysis. Load current logging captures the power consumption of machines, electrical panels, or entire facilities and helps identify inefficiencies. Leak current logging detects unintended leakage caused by insulation faults, incorrect wiring, or aging equipment. Monitoring these currents helps prevent electrical hazards, reduce fire risk, and ensure compliance with safety standards. This combination makes the PW3365 a valuable tool for spotting inefficiencies and detecting faults before they lead to failures.
The PW3365 comes with the Z1008 AC adapter for operation where mains power is available. If no outlet is accessible, the optional PW9002 Battery Set, which mounts on the back of the instrument, provides up to 3 hours of battery-powered operation. These flexible power options ensure reliable performance in both fixed installations and mobile applications.
Designed for energy consultants, facility managers, and service engineers, the PW3365 is a safe, reliable, and user-friendly solution for energy monitoring. Its compact form factor allows easy deployment in tight spaces, while non-contact voltage probes simplify setup and eliminate the risk of short circuits. Supports real-time monitoring via LAN and enables seamless connectivity with the free HIOKI Gennect One PC software, ensuring efficient and continuous power management.
Delivering all essential measurements, it supports precise monitoring of single-phase to 3- phase 4-wire systems. Whether for audits or continuous monitoring, the PW3365 offers dependable insights that drive energy savings and operational improvements.
